In October 2025, we visited Lake Bled in Slovenia. As our first time in Slovenia, and without having completed a lot of research, we were not 100% sure what to expect, but the lake and the country as a whole blew us away. We ate too many Bled Cream Cakes, and drunk too much Slovenian Wine, but it was the otherworldly landscape that was the true star of the show for us.
